The Setting
The Local Group spans five connected galaxies — the Milky Way, Andromeda, Triangulum, and the Magellanic Clouds. Each is politically distinct. Each is described at the level of powers, pressures, and available stories.
Species & Factions
Dozens of species. Empires built on denial and debt. Factions that operate across galaxy lines. Humans are a minor player.
Infrastructure
The Wormhole Access Network binds charted space together — and access can be revoked. Oddspace is the FTL medium ships traverse at cost and risk. Both are leverage.
